Bronze sculpture depicting a trotting horse, 37x44

This full-length bronze sculpture depicts a horse in a dynamic pose, either trotting or standing at attention, with its right front leg raised. The work displays a naturalistic attention to the horse’s musculature and anatomical details. The bronze features a uniform dark brown patina with subtle variations in tone that highlight the body’s contours. The mane and tail are rendered with stylized, flowing locks that suggest movement. The sculpture is freestanding and rests directly on its four hooves, without an integrated base or plinth. Visual inspection reveals no artist’s signatures, foundry marks, or edition numbers on the surface of the bronze or beneath the hooves. The casting appears to be of good quality, with smooth surfaces and well-defined details on the head and legs.
