She graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Gdynia-Orłowo and the State Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She received her diploma from the Department of Painting and Graphic Arts in 1986 in the studio of Associate Professor Jerzy Krechowicz. She completed an annex in printmaking (lithography) under the supervision of Associate Professor Czesław Tumielewicz. She works in painting, drawing, book illustration, and poster design.

She has held 21 solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. She has participated in approximately 80 group exhibitions in Poland as well as in Germany, France, Sweden, Italy, Lithuania, and Ukraine, among other countries. She has participated in international art programs: “Kontakt Direkt” (Sweden–Poland, 1999–2000) and “Soutine Dienos” (Lithuania–Poland, 2005).

She is the recipient of numerous awards for illustration, poster art, and drawing; in 2009, she received the Grand Prix at the 6th Olsztyn Biennial of Visual Arts. In 2007, she was awarded an artistic scholarship by the Olsztyn City Council, and in 2009, an artistic scholarship from the Marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, under which she prepared an exhibition of paintings and drawings at the Council of Europe headquarters in Strasbourg. In 2010, she was honored with the Mayor of Olsztyn Award for her lifetime achievement in the field of visual arts. In 2017, she received the “Meritorious for Polish Culture” Medal, awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
