Price Martin - Coins of the Macedonians, London 1974, ISBN 0714108278
47 pages + 16 plates, B5 format, soft cover, corners worn. The book, published by the British Museum, is the result of the author's long-term study of Macedonian minting, from its beginnings in the late 6th century BC to the minting of the Roman Empire in the 3rd century AD. The book includes a map, a datebook of Macedonian history, the minting of tribes, cities, kings and under Roman rule. The 16 plates show images (obverse and reverse) of more than 90 coins with a description of each coin, which allows, among other things, to compare the ongoing changes in the design of issued coins in the Greek world of the time over 800 years.
