This is a copy of Jan Matejko's painting "Judgment on Matejko" from 1867. It was a reaction to the attacks of conservatives on the painting "Rejtan".
Jerzy MILLER
1921 - 1985
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He practiced printmaking and applied graphics such as postage stamps, postcards, book illustration. He was a designer of securities. He was the author of the drawing of the solar system on the reverse of the 1000 zloty banknote. In 1964, the artist held a solo exhibition in Warsaw.
