Andrzej ŁOBODZIŃSKI
b. 1931 Lodz
Painter and graphic artist. Obtained his diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz in 1955. He was associated and exhibited together with artists gathered in the "Fifth Circle" group. He exhibited at the Salon of the Photographic Society in Lodz, as well as in 1961 at Krzysztofory in Cracow. He participated in exhibitions at "Crooked Circle" and Foksal Gallery in Warsaw. After a period of exploration on the basis of Tashism, from 1958 his painting approached geometric abstraction, disciplined by a peculiar set of rules and "ways", leading him to the problem of space-time structures.
