Stanislaw GADOMSKI (1929-2013)
Photographer, graphic artist and draughtsman, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow from 1950 to 1954, received his diploma from Prof. L. Gardowski, from 1954 was a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. As a graphic designer and photojournalist, he cooperated with Silesian press publications: "Trybuna Robotnicza" and "Panorama". In "Panorama" he headed the photographic department for 20 years. In addition to photography, he practiced woodcutting and drawing. He is the author of photographs for numerous books, and has published many materials popularizing art and culture, with a particular focus on cycles devoted to ethnography.
