On the cover the coat of arms of Krakau and the autograph of Rudolf Pavlu mayor of Kra kau (Stadthauptmann) with the title of plenipotentiary of the head of the district, appointed on April 1, 1941, a position he held until March 1943. Includes a facsimile of the oldest view of Krakau from Hartamann Schedel's Chronicle of the World, published in 1493 and kept in the Cracow City Archives. The publication was created on the occasion of the incorporation of 27 rural communes into the city of Krakow on 1. VI. 1941, by decision of the GG authorities.
