Antoni Chrzanowski, b. June 13, 1905 in Cracow, died there March 29, 2000, studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Alfred Terlecki and Leon Wyczółkowski. Painter, draughtsman, also known as an athlete. In his paintings he primarily captured the architecture of Krakow. The artist even undertook to create a documentation of the Sigismund Chapel on Wawel Hill.
Antoni Chrzanowski's paintings are in the National Museum in Cracow and the Museum of Architecture in Wroclaw. He was an outstanding watercolor painter, although he also practiced oil painting. However, drawing was Antoni Chrznowski's true passion. His precise line of drawing amazed both professional art experts and the public, which always gathered in large numbers at the artist's exhibitions.
