Arnulf de Bouché
Arnulf de Bouché (1872 - 1945) was a German painter associated with the Munich community. At first he learned painting from his father Karl de Bouché, and then went on to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Beginning in 1901, he regularly exhibited his works at Glaspalast, and in 1914 he took part in the Great Art Exhibition in Berlin.
De Bouché primarily painted portraits, genre scenes and nudes, which were the main subject of his work. He depicted nude female figures in sensual poses and in oriental settings based on mythological and religious motifs.
