Set containing a handwritten note and signature by Russian poet Stepan Petrovich Shchipachev, dated July 28, 1962, Moscow.Original text in Russian:
"Все проходит, мудрость остается. Двухсотый век! Двухсотый век!"
Translation in English:
"Everything passes, wisdom remains. The two-hundredth century! The two-hundredth century!"
Shchipachev was a significant figure in 20th-century Soviet poetry. His work included lyrical, romantic, and socially engaged poems. Throughout his career, he published numerous collections reflecting not only themes of love but also the ideological shifts of his time.
The second part of the set contains a Czech translation of his poem Abandoned, bearing the author's signature. This set represents a rare collectible document connecting the poet’s original handwritten note with his published work.
