The offered sculpture is a fragment of the well-known composition chiseled by Konstanty Laszczka titled Chopin, 1933, the plaster model of which is now in the collection of the District Museum in Bydgoszcz. The work was immediately met with favorable reviews. Critics stressed that the image of the famous composer suggestively conveys the emotions of an artist immersed in improvisation, while the body of the sculpture is characterized by both compactness and internal dynamics.
