Olga Prokop-Miśniakiewicz

Sculptor, painter, educator - she is an interdisciplinary artist, combining sculpture, painting and miniature art. Her work focuses on man - his physicality, spirituality and desire for fulfillment. She often explores themes of tension between spirituality and sensuality, solitude and community, expectation and fulfillment. She graduated from the Institute of Art Education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, receiving a diploma with honors in the sculpture studio of Prof. Maciej Zychowicz and Dr. Grzegorz Gwiazdy. She also studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology and at the University of Detroit (Faculty of Architecture, USA). In addition, she completed postgraduate studies in graphics and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. In her creative practice, she uses a variety of materials: bronze, resin, clay, ceramics, metal and wood. Her sculptures, often figurative, carry symbolic messages and emotional depth. The artist believes that art can be a form of dialogue - with oneself, with others and with the world. The works presented at the exhibition at the Geological Museum ( 23.10-23.11.2025 ) PGI in Warsaw - were created especially for the exhibition "Peace in the World".
