She discovered her passion for carving thanks to the bee apiary she has run with her husband for many years. One day Mrs. Stanislava thought that the bees deserve a beautiful home in exchange for delicious honey. So in 1997 she carved her first beehive from a thick block of wood - a peasant with a pipe. Thus began her adventure with carving. The next sculptures she made were the Patron Saint Ambrose of beekeepers and the beehive of Jan Dzierżon - the creator of the first beehives and beekeeper. Later there were sculptures of the Sorrowful Jesus and the Mother of God. It was to the Mother of God that she and seven of her siblings were offered for protection in the church in Jasta, after the death of their mother. By carving statues of the Mother of God, she wishes to express gratitude for her care. She has also created sculptures of dwarves and animals, which she sees as symbols of childhood. She says it is a great pleasure to express her faith and love of nature in sculpture. Every time a piece of wood appears in her studio, she sees with her eyes the next project of a wonderful sculpture she would like to realize. (Source: Gmina Łosinina Dolna)
