Born in 1963 in Poddębice. After two years of studying painting, drawing, and composition, he was not admitted to college. He put his brushes aside for over 35 years, ceasing to paint until 2020, when an old work he submitted to the Łódź Province Marshal’s Competition received an honorable mention.

In 2023, he organized his first solo exhibition in Poddębice. The year 2024 brought him second prize in a nationwide painting competition in Bielsko-Biała. In 2025, he participated in the group exhibition “Bohemia, the Chaos of Art” in Łódź and also won an award in the nationwide open competition “Debuts 2025” organized by the Maya Gallery in Toruń. That same year, he participated in the 105th “Young Painting” auction in Warsaw.

Zbigniew Ożadowicz is a well-known artist, and his paintings are the result of many years of exploration, hard work, and talent. He focuses primarily on the human figure, creating expressive portraits set in a world of color. Sometimes the background is an interior; sometimes it is merely a surface from which the figure emerges, painted with broad, confident brushstrokes.
