Martyna Malka Górecka (b. 1991) is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she earned a degree in painting from Prof. Krzysztof Wachowiak's studio, and an annex in drawing from Prof. Czesław Radzki. For her, the world of the sea is not only an important subject of her works, but also a field of research on the role of light in a painting composition and the complex relationship between color and form. Her works are also a summary of her travel memories, an apparent abstraction that reminds her of the plethora of new experiences from trips to the sea. It is an abstracted frame that reaches deep into her memory.
