Szemberg 211; Hryńczuk II 506. Political poster, size 99x68 cm. Composition marked “W56.” A woman with a little girl, next to a crowd of protesters; newspaper headlines in the background. The poster refers to events in the Far East, where a Polish general-cargo ship en route to North Korea was detained in Taiwan, and its crew was accused of violating an embargo. After several months, the sailors were sent back to Poland; some of the crew requested asylum in Taiwan. The ship was not recovered. Minor tears; in good condition.
