Wooden case with rectangular base on 4 turned legs; drawer in base. Higher up - on four cannelled columns with bases and bronze heads - supported architectural finial with triangular tympanum and turned pinnacles. The mechanism is suspended between the columns, with a circular dial with Roman hour division.
