Lot description
Rococo armchair from the 18th century, made in the style of the famous French furniture maker Louis I. Cresson (1706-1761). The frame is of cut wood with rich floral and acanthus decoration, typical of French Rococo. The chair stands on finely shaped legs ending in castors. The back, seat and armrests are upholstered in fabric with a floral pattern, while the upholstery comes from a later period.more photos
