Aleksandra ADAMCZAK (b. 1980), How Quiet It Is Here, 2026

Born in 1980. A graduate of the Institute of Art and Pedagogy in Kalisz at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She graduated with honors from the painting studio under the supervision of Prof. Andrzej Niekrasz. Her thesis project was presented at the Poster Museum in Wilanów as part of a post-competition exhibition of the best fine arts theses, organized by the President of the Republic of Poland in 2005.

She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree and works as a computer graphic designer and cultural animator. She is actively involved in her hometown of Gostyń, initiating numerous cultural projects and leading educational activities in the field of art. She is the initiator of the visual arts exhibition “Biodiversity in Gostyń,” the project “The Art of Investing in Yourself Through Art,” the workshops “Fall in Love with the Art of Action,” and the art workshops “Agar Facsimiles.” She co-created the “Gostyń Academy of Culture” project, is the creator of numerous murals, and is a co-founder of the artistic group “Pracownia Kreatywna Artefakt.”

She has held many solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions and open-air art events in Poland and abroad. Her works are held in private collections both in Poland and internationally.

In her work, she remains faithful to easel painting, though she is increasingly turning to murals and street art. She most often works in oil and acrylic, while not shying away from formal and technical experimentation. The main themes of her painting are landscapes, symbolic portraits of women, and the motif of the horse. It is within this space that she builds her own world of visions and sensations—where nature is not reproduced literally but becomes a pretext for creation, and the personal realms of thought and feeling interpenetrate one another.
