A very rare variety, worth noting for specialized collections.
It is distinguished by the date placed beneath Jan Firlej’s initials, where the “I” is directly above the “9” rather than next to it, as is the case with common varieties, and by the inscription “POLONI” (instead of “POLONIAE”). It is further distinguished by a plain shield bearing the Vasa coat of arms, rather than the typically pointed date found in this design. Another noteworthy detail is Daniel Koste’s mark, in which the lion is not pierced by a hook but by something resembling a halberd.
