Beaded ring on the rim. Lettering: CHRISTIAN · 5 · D·G · REX · DAN · NOR · VA & GOT ·. Reverse: Crowned Norwegian lion holding an axe and facing right; in an oval shield (with ornate frame) on top of a cross. The shield is crowned and is surrounded by two lines of text; one near the rim and the King's motto as second. Beaded ring on the edge. Mint Master initials are divided at sides of the shield; right below the horizontal arms of the cross; while the date is dived by lower arm of the cross. Lettering:
