John II Casimir, born 1660, Gdańsk – IOAN
A bust of the king in a cloak, without a shoulder guard.
A variant inscription featuring the king’s title IOAN ... on the obverse and … GEDANENSIS on the reverse.
In the wreath above the Gdańsk coat of arms, three twigs on the left and two on the right.
Condition: 2-
Minor surface scratches (visible in the photos) and slight metal pitting and localized under-strikes, but a beautifully preserved piece. Good luster and plenty of mint mirror finish. An attractive coin.
