Peter was born in 1968 in Brno. Already in his early childhood, his parents recognized and helped nurture his talent for drawing and painting. In 1980, they decided to emigrate and, traveling through Hungary and then Yugoslavia, arrived in Austria. In 1988, he arrived in Vienna and began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in the master class of Prof. Arik Brauer. During his studies, he participated in numerous group exhibitions and began successfully selling his paintings. He graduated in 1993 with a Master of Fine Arts degree. In 2009, Peter moved from Vienna to Oberhöflein on the Hohe Wand plateau near the Eastern Alps.
