Ksenia Logvinenko, Belovezhskaya motif, 2022

acrylic on canvas, 70,00 x 70,00 cm

I was born in 1993 in Okhtyrka, a small town in the Sumy region of Ukraine. I am a graduate of Kharkiv College of Art and Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Art. For the past ten years I have been creating paintings in a small studio in the center of Kharkiv.
There were periods when I focused on plein air painting. I took up landscape painting because I noticed a kind of spatial logic between objects that form a living system of interrelated organisms.
Time, or more specifically the moment of time, are other issues that interest me. I address these themes in some of my collections of paintings.
Since I have a background in the school of realist painting, it influences all my works. I pay special attention to color, as it is the first thing that strikes the viewer's eye.
