Tadeusz Machowski was born in 1955 in Lancut. Since childhood he was passionate about art. For more than 20 years he developed his talent by creating realistic landscapes and portraits. Then he gradually began to move away from realism toward Expressionism, to start creating his own abstract style, influenced by the works of artists active in the 1940s-60s. Today we might be surprised to look at his current works. The artist is constantly restless, searching and using a variety of techniques, many of which are his own ideas. Tadeusz Machowski's works are characterized by diversification of form and content. This makes his painting difficult to classify unambiguously. In his works he tries to capture some of the energy and emotion in motion, to convey his impressions, feelings, obsessions. He manifests his own emotional and mental state. The intensity of colors and composition amazes most critics and collectors, who own more than 1,000 of his paintings (mainly in the US, EU countries and Poland). At the same time, he works in printmaking and sculpture.
