Ilona Foryś Date of birth: 1980 r.
Is a graduate of the W. Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. She completed her diploma in 2005 in the silkscreen studio under the direction of Prof. A. Smoczynski, annex in the painting studio under the direction of Prof. J. Zduniewski. Graduate of postgraduate curatorial studies at the Institute of Art History, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (2005-2006). She studied at the Faculty of Digital Media Production at the L. Schiller Film School in Lodz (2006-2008). Winner of the honorable mention of the 2005 Picture of the Year competition of the Art&Business monthly. In 2012, she received the Art Angel distinction of the All-Polish Art Biennale, Dabrowa Górnicza. In 2013, she participated in the competition Where to Find God - wooden churches of Wieluńska Land.
