Lithuania Payment Token (18th cent.) for one working day in the Estate of Count Plater. Bronze 0.53 g, 19x16 mm. Many members of the Plater family who served in the Lithuanian army received land for their service and settled in Lithuania. Seven of them in 1695–1795 were Lithuanian senators and participated in Seimas of the Republic of the Two Nations. They had manors in Eastern Lithuania and Samogitia. However, the Platers were famous not only for their wealth but also for their patriotism and special sense of honor.
