Oval with a portrait of Zofia Konstantinova Glavani; on the reverse side of the medallion an engraved shield with the Pilawa coat of arms of the Potocki family, under the crown; on the sides initials: "Z P", below the date of Sophia's marriage to Potocki: "1798".
Sophia Konstantinovna Glavani (1760-1822), primo voto Józefowa de Witt, secundo voto Countess Potocki. This Greek woman from Istanbul, regarded at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries as one of the most beautiful women of the era, after stormy romances and amorous adventures married in 1798 Count Stanislaw Szczesny Potocki of Tulczyn, a Polish magnate, haggard, politician from the pro-Russian camp.
