Ava Agni (Agnieszka Joppek), 1992, Halfway to Agadir, 2018

Born in 1992 in the capital of Tuchola Forest. Graduate of the University of Gdansk, majoring in cultural studies. She also graduated from journalism at Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz. A child of the forest by nature, she is a graphic designer and exhibition curator on behalf of the Tuchola Cultural Center by profession. She has worked with Jan Kaja, Jacek Soliński, Adam Papke and Zenon Korytowski, among others. She was "prompted" to create by the place where she lives - the machinery warehouse of the Trout Breeding Plant in Bielska Struga, which has been adapted into a home. In her paintings she captures the process of unification of the landscape with human creations, observed in Poland and abroad.
