Biography
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków under Leon Wyczółkowski and Teodor Axentowicz from 1911 to 1914 and from 1919 to 1920, and also at the State School of Fine Arts in Warsaw beginning in 1916. After graduation, he moved to Zakopane, from where he was displaced during the occupation and settled in Łódź. Around 1925, he traveled to Palestine and Egypt. He painted landscapes of the Tatra Mountains as well as scenes with Oriental themes. His works can be viewed in the collection of the Tatra Museum in Zakopane.
