The artist writes about the painting:
"She is the scent of flowers and wet forest moss; she is the thicket of ferns and the sound of the wind among the branches of trees; she is subtle, delicate and caring when she develops buds in an April orchard and hopeful when the world awakens in spring. She is powerful like the roots of trees bursting the rock, and at the same time full of peace and gentleness like hundred-year-old oaks on a sunny day . She does not get angry, there is no evil in her, she consists of eternal wisdom, love and goodness .Her green eyes watch you from all sides, but never judge. Even if you hurt her - in return you will receive her most beautiful gifts. This is Flora - the ancient goddess of vegetation .She will bring you happiness peace and serenity, so find time for her, invite her to your home or just stop sometimes to look at her and understand, and she will reward you a thousandfold . This is the first in a series of paintings depicting nature-inspired female portraits, the idea of which is to show female beauty combined with the beauty of nature."
