Ira Zabela, Trimmer, 2019

oil, canvas, 30 x 40 cm signed on the reverse: Забэла Iра

"The creature on the golden cube, trying to control all sides at the same time, cuts the grass. His goal is an even, controlled, understandable world - and he limits it, creates a space of control. The challenge: the world is alive and moving. Trying to capture the movement of life with the mind leads to limitations. The elusive, incomprehensible, unknown, dark world beyond limits." Ira Zabela
