Xuying Wang's work documents the metamorphosis that the young artist experienced with her move to Poland. Immersion in the European cultural circle transformed her personality and, consequently, her creative style.
In her works, Xuying Wang refers to various contradictions and cultural differences, which enrich her personality, allow her to see other perspectives and thus shape her creative path. She also makes use of solutions typical of Far Eastern printmaking and motifs familiar from Japanese popular culture. Xuying Wang's ceramics combine aesthetic influences from different cultures, but also functionalism with decorative art.
