Kacper Bożek – born in 1974 in Kraków. A graduate of the Antoni Kenar State High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane and the Department of Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He completed his diploma project under the supervision of Professor Stanisław Wejman. He works as an assistant professor in the Copperplate Engraving Studio at his alma mater. In 2013, he earned his Ph.D. for a series of prints dedicated to *The Saragossa Manuscript* and the life of Jan Potocki. He has presented his works at approximately 30 solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He has also participated in dozens of group exhibitions, receiving numerous awards (list below). He typically uses intaglio techniques, particularly etching and aquatint. Literature is one of his sources of inspiration. He has created two portfolios of prints based on Mikhail Bulgakov’s *The Master and Margarita* and Jan Potocki’s *The Diary Found in Saragossa*.
