She was born in Cracow. She currently lives and works in the village of Modlnica near Krakow. She graduated from the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts in 1988. She received a distinction and a medal for her diploma work.
Since graduating, she has been steadily engaged in artistic work. While practicing easel painting, she has developed her recognizable style, consisting of simplification and flattening of space, sometimes reminiscent of naive painting or primitive art, always filled with a wealth of color and textures. The artist's works are in museum and private collections in Japan, the US, Scandinavia, Germany, France and the Polish Consulate in Berlin.
