Bronislava Eduardovna Veigul (Latvian: Broņislava Veigule, 1927–2007) was a dye worker at the Riga Knitwear Production Association "Sarkanais Rīts" and a Hero of Socialist Labor (1976). She was born on September 17, 1927, in Latvia into a poor peasant family. After finishing secondary school, she worked as a village council secretary. From 1954 to 1958, she trained as a dye worker at the "Sarkana Tekstilniece" knitwear factory. Starting in 1958, she worked as a dye worker and later as a shift supervisor at the "Sarkanais Rīts" enterprise. For outstanding production achievements during the 8th Five-Year Plan, she was awarded the Order of Lenin (1971). In 1976, she was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor along with another Order of Lenin and the "Hammer and Sickle" gold medal. She served as a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Latvian SSR for the 8th to 10th convocations (1971–1985), was a member of its Presidium, and a delegate to the 25th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (1976). She passed away on August 17, 2007, in Riga.
