Ryszard Prauss studied from 1924 to 1930 in the studios of Mieczyslaw Kotarbinski and Tadeusz Pruszkowski at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. At the same time he studied printmaking with well-known professors: Władysław Skoczylas and Edmund Bartłomiejczyk. Ryszard Prauss is a traditional painter and draftsman, specializing mainly in pencil and crayon. His favorite subjects are mainly Polish reconstructed architecture.
