Lukasz Zalucki, Sweet Note

oil on canvas, 100 cm x 70 cm

Luke Zalucki: "...After returning home, I purchased acrylic paints and canvas. I painted my first painting after 25 years. At that time I was very pleased with the result. Then came the second, third painting, and to my surprise the fourth was purchased by a friend. I found the first Facebook group and there I put up another work, which sold! I decided to go further in this direction. On my own, I began to further my education in painting, through books, art history, film footage, audiobooks, anything I could get my hands on. I "rewatched" artists and their biographies one by one, read and watched interviews with them. I absorbed a lot of knowledge, wanting to catch up with people after art schools.
During the first years of painting, I mainly focused on landscapes, so as to reach a technical level as soon as possible, which was to open the way for me to surrealism. This current interested me the most, although I do not close myself to it, nor do I "pigeonhole" myself into any particular one, for the moment.
Reaching a certain technical level is just the beginning of the road.
After two years, the first gallery "knocked" on my door, which I consider a huge success, in such a short time. Since 2020, my works have been purchased by clients from many countries in Europe as well as the USA. What will happen next? I myself am curious... I invite you to follow my work."
