Zygmunt JÓZEFCZYK1881 - 1966Between 1909 and 1910 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Leon Wyczółkowski; he also studied at the Jagiellonian University. In 1911-1914 he exhibited at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1912-1914, his works (including Fairy Tale, Artist's Dream, Saddened) were reproduced in magazines. During the interwar period, he lived in Cracow. Since 1933, he was a member of ZZPAP. He exhibited in Cracow at the House of the Artist (1921), at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts (1926), at the premises of ZZPAP (1928, 1939). The National Museum in Cracow has two paintings (oils) depicting Hutsul women; the National Museum in Warsaw has Zaprzęg (1922, oil), and Sanie na polnej drodze (1931, oil).
