Painter, an adept of the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts, where from 1909 to 1917 he studied under J. Pankiewicz and T. Axentowicz, whose paintings he thematically and formally referred to in his paintings. In 1944, the artist's entire pre-war output in his studio was burned down.
