"I first encountered Dominik's paintings at the Lambert Gallery in Paris. Looking at his paintings, one had the impression that they were clippings of Impressionist canvases seen through a highly magnifying glass, just as they show pieces by Monet or Renoir at the Musee du Jeu de Paume to explain to viewers the Impressionists' palette, how to lay down color and other intricacies of the workshop.
