Biography
Graduate of the State High School of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Currently a fourth-year student of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, previously studied sculpture at the same university for a year. She actively participates in group exhibitions at the academy and outside.In her practice, Sabina focuses primarily on oil painting, although her work echoes her earlier sculptural experience. She also reaches for gouache or watercolor. Her work is an oneiric study of the human psyche, weaknesses and sensitivity, which on canvas take on surreal, and fanciful forms. With the help of intense colors, distortions and various textures, the artist creates dreamy, anecdotal images that transport the viewer to a magical reality full of understatement, and mystery. With them she depicts elusive visions or impressions that are born in her subconscious. She is intrigued by everything strange and intangible, yet close to every human being.
