Biography
Ryszard Kosek graduated from a secondary music school and was associated with a jazz band called "Loft". He began his painting activity in the 1980s. Life-long associated with Plock, in his work he painted mainly genre scenes and people. Kosek's works have been shown in numerous group and individual exhibitions, both in Poland and abroad. Kosek was a winner of the Teofil Ociepka National Painting Competition, and his works are in such institutions as the Silesian Museum in Katowice, the Mazovian Museum in Plock and the Malczewski Museum in Radom.
