"Kozlowski's work cannot be denied an ironic, somewhat bitter message. His seemingly simple works are not devoid of deeper iconography and a second bottom. The artist's paintings bring to mind pop art. This association is triggered by strongly contrasted color patches. Such execution makes the subject matter he undertakes more meaningful. Kozlowski is an observer who portrays the violence and absurdity of modern times in combining plastic consumption with horrifying cruelty and reckoning."
