Jagoda DZIEWANOWSKA (pseud. MANDALA b. 1991, Bydgoszcz)
She is a graduate of the State High School of Fine Arts in Bydgoszcz, Poland, and defended her diploma thesis with honors. She earned a bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage Management and Monument Protection. She does abstract easel painting, creates synthetic drawings, prints in intense stimulating colors. Her works are geometric expressive constructions. She bases many of her paintings on the Buddhist mandala motif. The artist interprets space by creating precise decorative works, optimistic compositions of colors and shapes. She is a creative ambitious perfectionist and develops herself by constantly traveling and observing the masters. She is inspired by works and artists from different backgrounds. From classic poster artists and illustrators to contemporary design and street art revolutions. Some of the ideas are also born from observing tattoo designs, illustrations. She paints in her studio in Bydgoszcz.
