Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice at the Faculty of Graphic Arts. He received a diploma in poster design under Prof. Tadeusz Grabowski and an annex in graphic design in the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Gawron, awarded a medal in 1978.

He works in painting, drawing and graphic arts. He has participated in more than 140 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad in many art galleries. He has had solo exhibitions in Katowice (1995, 2001, 2002, 2006), Gorzow Wielkopolski (1997), Tychy (1997), Ruda Slaska (2002), Myslowice (2004), Mikolow (2004), Oswiecim (2002), Prudnik (2005), Łódź (2005), Sieradz (2005), Duszniki Zdrój (2006), Zielona Góra (2006, 2008), Warsaw (2006), Olkusz (2009), Olecko (2009), Szczyrk (2010), Ilawa (2010), as well as in Germany (1989) and Norway (2005).

He is also the recipient of the following awards: Award of Merit (1980), second prize at World Print III in San Francisco (1981), ZPAP "Creative Attitudes" award in Katowice (1982), honorable mention in the Cultural Poster of the Year '87 competition in Katowice. He also received the Grand Prix at the Second Biennial of ZPAMiG at BWA Katowice, a one-year scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Arts, an honorable mention at the 53rd Salon Artistes du Hurepoix (1999) and many others.
