Katarzyna Rutkowska - Graduated from the High School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, receiving the title of jewelry technician. Then she began her studies at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, majoring in painting, where she received her Master of Fine Arts degree in the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Kortyka in 2017. She works in painting and new media. She currently lives and works in Wroclaw. Her work is largely based on the issue of space in painting - from its organization to illusion. The means she uses benefit from the achievements of geometric abstraction. The precision of the execution of sharp divisions and the hidden gesture of painting reveals the inspiration of new technologies, digitalization and its future. The resulting paintings are a humanistic interpretation of the digital world in the spirit of science fiction.
