Biography
A graduate of the Painting program in the studio of Prof. Andrzej Tobis, Ph.D., at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. Recipient of the Minister of Culture’s scholarship in 2019. Her practice encompasses video, painting, sculpture, and installation. She is interested in the art of confectionery and delicatessen, issues of mass culture, consumerism, food that is thrown away as well as food on the plate, and customs, traditions, and rituals rooted in Polish culture. She scours the Internet, thrift stores, and trash bins, cataloging the items she finds there.
