From 1919 to 1921 he studied at the Academy of Art and Artistic Industry in Wroclaw with Otto M£ller. From 1921 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with J. Mehoffer, I. Pienkowski and J. Pankiewicz. He was a co-founder of the Kapists. He had numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. He painted landscapes, still lifes, portraits and flowers.
