Grzegorz Wnęk (Frysztak 1974, lives in Cracow) - graduated from the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, graduated with honors in Prof. Stanislaw Rodziński's studio in 1999. Since 1998 he has been working at his alma mater - first as an assistant to Grzegorz Bednarski, then as an assistant professor in Janusz Matuszewski's studio. Co-founder of the Association of Artists "Kontrapost".
Grzegorz Wnęk was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art in 1998-1999. In 2001, as part of the "Alltägliches" art program, he stayed in Cuxhaven, Germany. He is the winner of the Grand Prix of the 36th National Competition of Contemporary Painting "Bielska Jesień" 2003. Works, among others, in the collections of Lubuska Zachęta in Zielona Gora, BWA Bielsko Biała, BWA Krosno, Frissiras Museum in Athens.
